Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in San Francisco

On September 30 (Monday), our Consulate General hosted a National Day reception in the green room of the War Memorial Opera House to celebrate Korean National Day. Consul General Lim Jung-taek welcomed guests with an opening remarks, followed by congratulatory remarks from Utah Governor Spencer Cox (video), San Francisco City Chief of Protocol Maryam Muduroglu, and a cultural performance.

Before the reception, a Taegeukgi(Korean National Flag)-raising ceremony took place at the balcony hoisting pole on the second floor of San Francisco City Hall. During the reception, lights illuminating the shape of the Taegeukgi were activated at City Hall, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.
